NATUROPATHIC GRADUATE

Bianca Breiding

Biography

Clinical Practice Area: Women’s Health

Areas of Interest: Hormone, digestive and metabolic health, low mood, fatigue, skin health

Bianca’s interest in health and wellness began while completing her undergraduate degree in Kinésiologie with honours at Laurentian University in Sudbury. However, it was really after experiencing two concussions that she deep dived into the effects of diet and lifestyle on mood, energy and overall wellbeing. Wanting to learn more, she furthered her knowledge in the Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.

During her time there, she became increasingly fascinated by how the power of diet, nutraceuticals and the mind can have on one’s health.

Bianca believes that medicine should not solely be about extending one’s life but of improving one’s quality of life. Everyone deserves to feel their best and it is Bianca’s mission to support, educate and empower her patients to achieve their goals. Bianca takes a whole-body approach and likes to investigate the root cause of concerns while also managing one’s symptoms.

She has a keen interest in women’s hormonal health, digestive and metabolic health, as well as those experiencing low mood, fatigue and skin concerns. Some conditions she treats, but not limited to, are PCOS, PMS, PMDD, endometriosis, eczema, acne, psoriasis, depression, anxiety, IBS and other digestive-related concerns.

Bianca is a recent naturopathic medical graduate, working under the supervision of Dr. Laura Smith ND while she works on obtaining her naturopathic license.

Services provided in English and/or French.

CONTINUED LEARNING

Did you know that it only became law in 1993 to include women in clinical research in the US and Health Canada only created a guideline on inclusion in 1997? This means an ever-growing body of research is emerging in Women’s health and continues to emerge every single day. Bianca likes to stay up to date on the recent medical research and studies in hopes to better serve and educate the women walking through her office.
