Biography

Clinical Practice Area: Orthopedics, Women’s & Pelvic Health

Areas of Interest: Women’s and Pelvic Health, Prenatal labour and delivery preparation/education, Postnatal Care, Diastasis Recti 

Camille chose to pursue a career in physiotherapy as it allows her to incorporate wellness, lifestyle intervention, and exercise into her treatment. Her passion is women’s health, and she loves being able to support women throughout pregnancy, postpartum and beyond, and normalize pelvic health concerns throughout the lifespan.

An Ottawa Native, Camille returned home to start her practice after receiving her Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University followed by her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. She completed additional postgraduate training in the assessment and treatment of pelvic health conditions including bladder and bowel incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, painful intercourse, diastasis recti (DRA), and many other related conditions.

Camille draws from her education and athletic background, both of which underlie the principles behind her practice. She works to empower her clients with education, mindful movement and hands-on treatment help them get back to doing what they love.

CONTINUED LEARNING

Camille’s continuing education involves her Pelvic Health certification, Labour & Delivery training for Maternal Support through Comfort Measures and Pelvic Biomechanics, Abdominal Wall After Pregnancy & DRA training with Diane Lee, as well as Evidence-Based Birth coursework on models of perinatal care. She completed a 12-week course with Dr. Sinéad Dufour focusing on care in perinatal period including pregnancy & perinatal care, pelvic health, and pain science. Camille is committed to life-long learning and looks forward to continuing to expand her areas of knowledge in the field of women’s health.

Camille enjoys living an active lifestyle filled with yoga, hiking and spinning. She has a puppy named Lewis (who you’ll probably hear about during treatment sessions)! In her spare time she loves travelling, baking, and spending time with her family.
